Wisconsin Internet Setup for Mac OS 10.x

This guide will help you configure your computer to access Wisconsin Internet.
To begin, Click on the Apple Menu.
Scroll down and click on System Preferences.
Then double click on Network.
Show: (must be) Internal Modem.

Click on the TCP/IP tab Configure: Using PPP

Click on the PPP tab Sevice Provider: wi.net Telephone Number: Check Wisconsin Internet Settings Alternate Number: Check Wisconsin Internet Settings Account Name: Your Wisconsin Internet username. Password: Your Wisconsin Internet password. Put a check in Save password.

Click on the PPP Options Button Advanced Options: Check - Use tcp header compression Check - Use Verbose logging Click OK

Click on the Modem tab Modem: Apple Internal 56K Modem (v.90) or your modem. Check Enable error correction and compression in modem. Sound: On Dialing: Tone - You may or may not need to check Wait for dial tone... Click : Apply Now
