To have a store on the internet you need a certificate for two reasons, both reasons are for your customers. Having a certificate tells your customers that you are an actual business registered with the state. The second is the only way to encrypt the transaction is to have one. Customers are not going to feel comfortable submitting their credit card number over the internet if it is not encrypted. The process of getting a certificate is quick and actually a very painless experience.  An SSL certificate is issued through an issuing authority that is supported by most standard web browsers, such as GeoTrust and typically cost about $110.00 per year. 

Domain Name:
This is your Web Page's address on the Internet. A web page address is registered at the domain name registrar for the United States. This is so that no two web pages have the same name. Typical domain name fees are $30-$35 per year to the domain name registrar to maintain the name. Wisconsin Internet can help you register your domain name.

Wisconsin Internet On-Line Store:
The Wisconsin internet On-Line Store is your road to on-line transactions. The store package costs: $400 Setup Fee and $15 per month secure hosting charge.
